This exciting, Brighton-based, jazz funk/gospel fusion group was brought together by Oli Howe through a mutual love of 70’s jazz funk, 80’s fusion, 90’s R’n’B, gospel, hip-hop. Cultivating a unique and powerful sound that has its roots in each genre, while blending smooth neo-soul progressions and utilising rich gospel harmony, sincere melodies and increasing levels of rhythmic freedom throughout, Oli’s music takes you on a feel-good journey through his many influences.

Oli Howe + HOWES3 have supported jazz-fusion legend, Billy Cobham, for two consecutive sold-out shows at the Jazz Cafe (Camden, London), as well as Taylor Mcferrin at Oslo (Hackney, London). Following earlier appearances at Jazz Re:Freshed (Mau Mau Bar, Nottinghill, London), Love Supreme Festival (Glynde), Southbank Centre (Lambeth, London), Soundcrash Funk & Soul Weekender (Brighton), Wild Paths Festival (Norwich) and now added to the line-up of many well-known festivals and events throughout the year, Oli Howe add his uniqueness to the new and exciting resurgence of jazz-influenced music in the UK.
